My favorite summer reading activities.

Now, let’s talk about one of my favorite things: reading during the summer. There’s something magical about diving into a good book while sunbathing. For me, summer is all about fluffy romances that make me giggle and kick my feet. Whether I’m at the beach, relaxing in the park, or having a picnic with friends, a feel-good romance is always my go-to choice.

There’s just something about summer that pairs perfectly with light stories. Maybe it’s the long, sunny days that make everything feel a bit more hopeful and carefree. Or perhaps it’s the idea of summer love that makes these romances great. Either way, I can’t resist packing my beach bag with a few steamy and sweet novels.

One of my favorite summer activities is going to the beach with friends, laying out our towels, and getting lost in our respective books. We’ll spend hours reading, occasionally pausing to eat snacks or jump in the ocean to cool off. It’s the perfect blend of relaxation and reading.

Another cherished summer tradition is hosting a picnic in the park. All you need is a basket with snacks, drinks, and, of course, a couple of good books. There’s something so serene about lying on a blanket under a tree, with the sound of leaves rustling in the breeze and the smell of fresh grass all around while I read a book.

Summer is also a great time to explore new genres. While I usually stick to my beloved romances, I love to mix it up with some fantasy and fiction, especially when so many new releases are coming out! It keeps my reading list diverse and my Bookstagram content varied and engaging. Also… am I the only one rereading Beach read by Emily Henry this summer?
