Books in the USA Printable

Hey there, book lovers!

I’m super excited to share something special with you today: a brand new reading challenge that will take you on a literary journey across the USA! Introducing the Books in the USA printable! This fun and adventurous challenge will have you reading one book set in each of the 50 states.

I’ve put together a 2-part list of the 50 books that represent each state. But don’t worry, these are just recommendations. Feel free to swap out any book for another that takes place in the state you want to tackle. I’ve also included a map of the US where you can mark off each state as you finish and the ultimate checklist to keep track of your progress.

I created this printable because I know how thrilling it is to discover new books, especially when you’re trying to break out of the usual BookTok recommendations. I stumbled upon a Goodreads challenge and thought, “Why not make a printable version?” So here it isโ€”ready for you to download, print, and start checking off your new reads!

Download the printable and let’s get reading! You can find my other printables on my Printable page or click here. And hey, I’d love to hear from you. What other reading challenges would you like me to create? Drop your suggestions in the comments below.

Don’t forget to check out my shop for more awesome book content. And let me know how you found my blogโ€”I’m always curious about that! Make sure to subscribe for email notifications so you never miss a new freebie, and get exclusive access to the Subscribers’ Vault!

Happy reading, and let’s explore the USA one book at a time!

Cheers,
Gabby

What Makes Reading Challenges So Exciting?

I absolutely love reading challenges because they add a twist to my reading journey, keeping it fresh and intriguing. Each challenge presents a new goal, pushing me to explore books and genres I might never have picked up on my own. It’s like a treasure hunt through the literary world, where every book is a hidden gem that is waiting to be discovered.

Reading Challenges are not for everyone but I noticed that picking from the same books that keep popping up on my booktok or bookstagram is a very limited way to find my next read. For me, these challenges have introduced me to some of my favorite genres and tropes, authors with amazing writing styles, and stories that made it to my 5-star list.

One of the best ways to keep track of these adventures is through printables. I love adding cute ones to my reading journal and they not only help me stay organized but also add an element of fun to the challenge. That’s why I’m so excited to share my “Books in the USA” printable with you.

This specific challenge includes book recommendations for each state, a map to mark your progress, and a checklist to keep you on track. The printables are designed to make it as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. So, whether you’re a seasoned reader or just starting out, these printables will guide you through an unforgettable journey across the United States, one book at a time. How to use it:

  1. Choose your printable, download the file on the button below, and save it on your device. You can download either the PNG or PDF files.
  2. Once the file is downloaded, open it and print it on standard letter-size (8.5×11 inches) paper. You can use a color printer if you want to retain the vibrant colors as shown.
  3. The printable includes a 2-part list of book recommendations, each set in a different state. Feel free to swap out any book for another that takes place in the same state if you have different preferences.
  4. Decide the pace at which you want to complete the challenge. You can aim for one book per week, per month, or any timeline that suits your schedule.
  5. Use the included map of the US to mark each state as you complete the book associated with it. This can be done by coloring in the state, placing a sticker, or simply checking it off from the checklist I added.
  6. Enjoy your reading adventure across the USA!

After you’ve used the printable, share your thoughts in the comments section. Let me know your favorite books or what books you switched.
